Marwan Al Barghouti

Artist Jim Fitzpatrick, creator of the iconic image of Che Guevara with a special portrait of husband Marwan Barghouthi which he made during the Irish launch of the International Campaign For The Freedom of Marwan Barghouthi and All Palestinian Political Prisoners in BuswellÕs Hotel, Dublin.
The press conference outlined the history, aims and objectives of the campaign in support of the thousands of Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli jails which was officially launched on 27 October 2013 from Nelson MandelaÕs cell in the notorious apartheid-era prison on Robben Island.

Jamil Abdalla Fayad

Graduado em Agronomia pela Universidade de Passo Fundo (UPF), especialização em Educação e Movimentos Sociais pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) e mestrado em Fitotecnia (Produção Vegetal) pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Militante de esquerda e do Movimento pela
Libertação da Palestina – Ghassan Kanafani. Foi pesquisador da Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária e Extensão Rural de Santa Catarina (Epagri). Autor de vários trabalhos na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Fitotecnia. Entre esse o “Sistema de plantio direto de hortaliças – método de transição para um novo modo de produção” (Expressão popular).
